STAR SI: Analyzing the Efficacy of a Peer-Led Supplemental Learning Program in an Introductory Level Biology Course during COVID-19

Supplemental Instruction (SI) is a peer assisted intervention that models effective academic behaviors for difficult courses. This research utilized a mandatory version of SI which demonstrated improved course outcomes for all students in an introductory Biology course. The effects persisted through and after the COVID-19 switch to remote learning.
