Abstract
Studies showed that repeating a statement makes it seem more probably true. Similarly, repeating statements about moral transgressions makes these transgressions seem less morally wrong. We found that truth judgments were affected more by repetition than moral judgments, contradicting prominent philosophical accounts that moral judgments are stating facts about reality.
