Abstract
This is the first known study to explore the extent of mind-wandering in autistic individuals and demonstrates a viable new methodology for investigating executive functioning subsets within this population. Results from this study indicate that the two leading explanations for unintended and undirected mind-wandering are not supported within this sample.
