Abstract
We failed to find evidence for convergent validity of the Divergent Word Association Task (DAT) and the Creative Personality Scale (CPS), and we ascertained only weak evidence for links between these measures and indices of transliminality, cognition, affect, and psychopathology. We critically evaluate the theoretical relationship between transliminality and creativity.
