Contributors to Family Life Impairment for Families of Young Autistic Children

Predictors of family life impairment for families of autistic children are not well known. Multiple regression was used to identify contributors to impairment for these families. Both child and parental variables predicted impairment across multiple family domains. Findings provide potential targets for developing child and parent interventions and influencing policy.
