Abstract
This study examined the mediation effect of cognitive flexibility in the relationship between adverse childhood events (ACEs) and internalizing symptoms in children. ACEs were associated with lower cognitive flexibility, and ACEs and cognitive flexibility were both associated with internalizing but there was no mediating effect of cognitive flexibility.
