The Presence of Stigma on Learning Disabilities in Female-Adolescents in a Single-Sex Environment

The clear presence and nuanced impact of stigma and sympathy among female adolescents towards peers with a learning disability in a single-sex environment was demonstrated. The hypothesis was confirmed; low levels of stigma, and high levels of sympathy were self-reported for hypothetical LD targets, compared to non-LD targets.
