The Relationship between Role Overload and Task Performance: Moderating Effects of Active Recovery Experiences

Two-wave survey data collected from 277 Korean employees revealed that active recovery experiences moderated the effect of role overload on task performance. People with high active recovery experiences consistently demonstrated high task performance. To people with low active recovery experiences, however, role overload rather had positive relationships with task performance.
