Virtual Vs. in-Person Instruction: A Systematic Investigation of the Effects of the Instruction and Test-Taking Medium on Learning Outcomes

As part of an intramural instructional grant, we systematically compared the mean percent correct for factual and application questions between six large Introductory Psychology classes utilizing different instruction and test-taking mediums. We found significant differences in learning outcomes between virtual and in-person instruction and test-taking.
