Abstract
Infants' language learning is embedded in everyday routines that occur in predictable spaces of the home. Prior research has explored the effects of home contexts on the words mothers address to infants. This poster investigates how location in the home shapes the underlying intent–pragmatics–of mothers' speech to infants.
