Abstract
Research has shown that parenting style impacts children's reported internalizing symptoms. Furthermore, maternal emotion dysregulation has been tied to unsupportive parenting and child emotion dysregulation. This study found that authoritarian parenting moderates the relationship between poor maternal emotion regulation and daughter depressive symptoms.
