Abstract
We analyzed data from children whose parent had an anxiety disorder and examined whether temperament and parent-child relationships interactively influence peer relationships six years later into adolescence. We found that parental warmth buffered the negative impacts of vulnerable temperament (shyness and unsociability) on friendship quality six years later into adolescence.
