Is All Support Truly Made Equal? How Social Support and Race of Support Givers Influence Black Parent's Health Outcomes

We examined associations between four stressors, social support quality, and support giver race with Black parents' internalizing symptoms using path analyses.  Each stressor and more support from White people were related to more internalizing symptoms. More White support givers also exacerbated the link between financial stress and internalizing symptoms.
