Intra-Individual Variation in Interpersonal Curiosity: We May be More Curious about People from Backgrounds Similar to Our Own

Potential intra-individual differences in interpersonal curiosity, the desire to know about the inner and outer experiences of other people, were explored. Findings suggest that people express greater interpersonal curiosity about those from backgrounds similar to their own, revealing the potential for intra-individual variation in interpersonal curiosity based on the target.
