Abstract
We investigated the association between maternal depression and a toddler's relative reinforcing value of hyperpalatable foods, risk factors which have obesity implications but are understudied in toddlers. Parent-child dyads completed a reinforcement task and self-report depression question. The data show trends in the positive direction though no significance was found.
