Abstract
Participants who endorsed one type of unsubstantiated claim, such as belief in conspiracy theories, also tended to believe in other unsubstantiated claims such belief in the paranormal, pseudoscience, and poorly supported practices. Those who tended to generally accept unsubstantiated beliefs also tended to be more cynical and less scientifically skeptical.
