Abstract
The proposed research will be the first to examine the mnemonic benefits of socioemotional processing in individuals with Down syndrome. We hypothesize that individuals with DS will show an exaggerated emotional memory enhancement relative to typically-developing controls, highlighting a potential strategy for learning in the classroom and in daily life.
