Abstract
Across 36 eye tracking trials, participants (N= 47) viewed experimentally crossed combinations of information about the target's personality and situational demands. Results provide moderate evidence (Bayes Factor = 3.6) that people spend more time (seconds) attending to person information than situation information (8.6 versus 7.4 seconds, respectively).
