Abstract
Between 2020-2021, more than 100,000 hate crimes were reported. This study will reexamine a 2003 study on bystanders' perceptions of perpetrators and victims of hate crimes. Participants will be assigned scenarios depicting either a hate-or a non-hate crime then indicate how much blame to place on the victim or perpetrator.
