Abstract
The current study demonstrates P300 event-related potential amplitudes moderate the association between parent goal-directed behavior, a crucial component of emotion regulation, and child affective reactivity. Results suggest children with smaller P3 amplitudes, coupled with poor parent emotion regulation, may be at particular risk of developing poor emotion regulation.
