Abstract

Among undergraduate students, feeling like an impostor is prevalent, especially in academic settings, and correlates with academic aspirations. Impostor feelings are pervasive regardless of gender, race, immigration, or first-generation status, but student background moderates the correlation between impostorism and students' reported likelihood of leaving an academic program before completion.
