Benefits of Happiness on Learning: Emotional Well-Being Predicts Gpa and Online Learning Engagement during COVID-19

We found that students with higher emotional well-being engaged more in online learning and achieved higher GPAs. In two longitudinal studies, we assessed emotional well-being at the start of the semester; subsequently, we objectively measured academic performance using GPAs and engagement levels using log data from a Learning Management System.
