Examining Differences in Treatment Duration, Outcomes, and Therapeutic Alliance between Child and Adult Transfer and Non-Transfer Clients in a Psychology Training Clinic

This study examines effects of clinician transfer on treatment outcomes, duration and therapeutic alliance. Routine measures provided scores throughout treatment, used to evaluate progress. Adult transfer clients did not improve as much as non-transfer clients. There were no significant differences in outcomes among child clients. Transfer clients completed more sessions.
