This study finds that anxiety and depression for US children tripled from 9.4% and 4.4% in 2016-2019 to 22.92% and 14.97% in 2022. Children had eating problems (15.94%), attention deficiency (14.98%), unusual anger or outburst (13.41%), and non-medical physical pain (9.50%). Female and low-income children more likely experienced mental issues.
