L-H Social Anxiety Scale for Hyperkinetic Movement Disorders: Development, Validation, and Receiver Operating Characteristics

Social anxiety has been reported among individuals with essential tremor (ET) and Parkinson's disease (PD). A measure for hyperkinetic movement disorders may lessen limitations of generic measures. The LH-SAS has good psychometric properties, with high sensitivity (AUC .895), and shown to detect social anxiety symptoms among ET and PD samples.
