Predicting Stigma Among Individuals with Essential Tremor and Parkinson's Disease

Abstract
Predictors of perceived stigma in a sample of essential tremor (ET, n = 58) and Parkinson's disease (PD, n = 22) participants were examined. A hierarchical multiple regression analysis indicated 67% of the variance in perceived stigma was explained by tremor disability. Results expand our understanding of ET-related psychosocial disability.
