Moderating Effects of Emotional Expression on Perceived Responsiveness and Mental Health in a Self-Disclosing Context

Abstract
This study explored the role of perceived responsiveness and emotional expression on mental health in the context of disclosing good news and stressors to others. Results indicated a significant interaction between general perceived responsiveness of the disclosee(s) and mental health when disclosing stressors but not good news.
