Eye on the Numbers: Investigating Numeracy and Base-Rate Use in an Eye Tracking Paradigm

Prior research has suggested merely completing math tasks can increase use of numerical information in subsequent judgment tasks. It may be that this occurs because numerical priming causes participants to focus more on numerical information, essentially increasing their numeracy in-the-moment. We plan to test this in an eye-tracking paradigm.
