Abstract
This study examines how the ability to rapidly generate emotion words (emotion fluency) varies across ages 4-25. Emotion fluency correlated with fluency producing non-emotion words (verbal fluency) and both share similar age-related trajectories. Cluster analyses examining the sequence of emotion words revealed the semantic organization of emotion concepts.
