Abstract
A series of meta-analyses are underway to examine the neural mechanisms underlying emotional well-being (EWB) in task-independent (resting-state fMRI, and structural MRI) and dependent (task-based fMRI) modes. As hypothesized, results thus far indicate a dissociation between task-independent and task-dependent MRI with anterior cingulate cortex (ACC)/precuneus and amygdala/striatum involved, respectively.
