Abstract

Childhood amnesia is yet to be entirely understood. However, studies demonstrate that language may be playing a salient role in early childhood memory encoding and retrieval. The proposed research aims shedding light on the neural substrates of episodic memory encoding in children undergoing vast lexical repertoire growth.
