Abstract

We explored the mediating role of symptom-related functional impairment on the association between gender and quality of life (QOL) outcomes among adults with attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder. Impairment partially mediated the association between gender and QOL, specifically in productivity and psychological health, while fully mediating the association between gender and relationships.
