Talker-Learning Transfers across Modalities

Subjects were first trained to identify a group of talkers in the auditory modality and were assigned (to either the same or a different talker group) to learn talkers through visual modality. Results indicated that talkers for auditory training were better identified if they had been trained in visual modality.
