Abstract
Recent studies suggest that perceivers use make feature-based distinctions at the intragroup level. In this study, we use hair texture as a basis for intragroup discrimination to explore the extent to which feature-based bias is presented through conversational "jumps" instigated in zero-history video chat encounters.
