How Learning about Identifiable and Statistical Victims Motivates Support for Individual and Collective Action

This study will investigate how learning about an identified victim, victims collectively, or both motivates individual prosociality and support for structural change. I expect an identified victim to motivate individual action, statistical victims to motivate collective action, and the combination to uniquely motivate both types of action.
