Correlates of Quality of Life in Adolescents and Adults on the Autism Spectrum

Abstract
Quality of life is poorer for autistic individuals than neurotypical individuals. Multiple linear regression assessed whether employment, depression, anxiety, and social participation were associated with quality of life in this population. Significant associations and interactions were identified. Findings provide insight into the experiences of autistic individuals and highlight unmet need.
