Abstract
Approximately 1 in 12 men report engaging in sexually-assaultive behavior, but personality differences between serial perpetrators, non-serial perpetrators, and non-perpetrators had not been studied before. Perpetrators have higher levels of antagonism (OR=2.2) and disinhibition (OR=2.6) compared with non-perpetrators. Serial perpetrators have higher levels of psychoticism (OR=6.95) compared with non-serial perpetrators.
