College Student Food Insecurity Affects Academic and Psychological Well-Being

Abstract
This study examined food insecurity among college students (n = 3,283) in relation to academic and health outcomes. Food insecure students were more likely to be students of color, live off campus and report greater academic challenges and mental health symptoms than food secure students. Implications for policy are discussed.
