Abstract
Seven studies (N = 6,895 U.S. participants) assessed the replicability of the effects of counterattitudinal exemplars on implicit Black/White race attitudes, first demonstrated by Dasgupta and Greenwald (2001). We discuss initial failed replications, boundary conditions of successful extensions, and general lessons for the replicability of social psychology.
