Abstract
This study examined the effects of experiencing multiple types of violence (i.e., polyvictimization) and difficulties regulating emotions on day-to-day negative affect and craving in adults reporting substance use. These findings demonstrate how polyvictimization is associated with higher day-to-day craving, not accounted for by PTSD symptoms or difficulties regulating negative emotions.
