Abstract
We examine the associations between (a) body-image discrepancy and self-esteem with (b) later internalizing, substance use, and eating disorders for women with and without childhood ADHD. Via longitudinal methodology, body-image discrepancy predicted increased presence of eating disorders and low self-esteem predicted increased internalizing behaviors and tobacco use.
