Stress and Psychological Outcomes in Children Sent Away in Germany: An Exploratory Analysis

328 participants in Germany sent away as children completed questionnaires about stress, depression, attachment styles, perceived closeness in their relationships, and questions about their sent-away experience. There are increased vulnerabilities to stress, depression, and attachment styles in our sample. Closeness to mother may serve as a protective factor for depression.
