Can Peer Relationships Serve As a Buffer between Adverse Childhood Experiences and Levels of Shame?

The proposed study will examine the relationship between adverse childhood experiences, peer relationships, and shame, specifically whether vulnerable peer relationships can help reduce the effects of adverse childhood experience on shame. Participants will complete the ACEs questionnaire, Friendship Maintenance Scale, and Internalized Shame Scale.
