Teen Romantic Drama Movies: Young Viewers' Exposure to Unrealistic Depictions of Love and Hookups?

Research suggests that there is a link between adult romantic idealizations and watching romantic comedy.  As a follow up, our content analysis focused on romantic content of teen romantic drama films.  Our study suggests that there are notable similarities and some differences between adult romantic comedies and teen romantic dramas.
