Abstract
Fear of cancer recurrence (FCR) is a significant concern among breast cancer survivors and their partners. Using an Actor-Partner Interdependence Model, we investigated the relationship between FCR and dispositional traits (optimism and pessimism). Results suggest associations between FCR and pessimism, highlighting the potential role of personality in processing cancer experiences.
