Abstract
The purpose of the current study was to test two mechanisms influencing the relationship between childhood adversity and alcohol use problems. Path analyses demonstrated that childhood adversity was associated with reward responsiveness and emotion dysregulation, which, in turn, was associated with negative urgency and subsequently alcohol-related consequences.
