Abstract
The educational attainment polygenic index represents genetic propensity for educational attainment and accounts for 16% of the variance in European ancestry samples but disproportionately less in African ancestry samples. We aim to replicate this finding in a larger sample and identify environmental variables that disadvantage individuals from attaining their potential.
