What Doesn't Kill You Makes You Stronger? Quadratic Relations between Early Life Neighborhood Stress and Allostatic Load.

Abstract
In sample of university students (N=150), linear and quadradic relations between early life neighborhood stressors (ELNS) and allostatic load (AL) were investigated. Results showed significant quadradic relations between ELNS and AL. Biological sex moderated the linear relationship between ELNS and AL such that relations were only significant for females.
