Effects of Eating Behavior Regrets on Emotions and Intentions

Abstract
This research examined different forms of regret. Participants were randomly assigned to anticipate or recall an eating behavior regret that was either an action or inaction. Findings indicated that past regrets and regretted actions were more aversive (than other conditions) but not more likely to be associated with future intentions.
