Juvenile Incarceration: Socioeconomic Status Effects on Rates of Recidivism
- Raquel Hughes
Abstract
This research seeks to explain how factors linked to socioeconomic conditions such as ptsd, family, and environmental structures influence juvenile behaviors. Factors of family history, environmental disaprities, and experiences of trauma are directly linked to the adaptation of behaviors that lead to increased rates of recidivism in low socioeconomic communities.
